Bookcases full of wonderful books
Ok let's all admit it we are all book addicts or we wouldn't be here blogging and reading blogs about the romance books that we love so much. So I had a thought while I was looking at some of my own vast collection of books... in this age of modern furniture just how many bookcases do most avid readers have in their homes?
There are all kinds - you have the standard old bookcases that are pretty much just boxed in shelves and then there are the newer nifty corner bookcases, and even ones that are kind of like functioning pieces of art that just happen to hold a few of your favorite books too. So time to fess up how many bookcases do you have filled up in your home? Right now I have 7. Some of them are the small ones and no they aren't all totally full (I did clear out some of my books last year to make more room for newer ones), but they are all well on the way again to being full lol. :)
BIG HUGS until next time,

Dare I admit just how many I have? At the moment I think it is 41. Most are the tall style. All are full, most 2 books deep. Add to that I have probably as many books in boxes or piles. I collect old books, have many keepers, and my TBR Shelf is really a mountain. I have one wall (actually a half wall) that my husband is going to build shelves for. I don't have any place left to put them. I need more time to read.
Right now I have 4 large bookshelves and all the books are two deep and some books are stacked in back of other books and sitting on top of the books I so neatly put on the shelves. lol
I also just bought another corner bookshelf and have books stacked all over my dressers. My desk is filled with books and there are only about 50 that I have yet to read. But I ahve 3 more boxes of books coming in the mail. Now I just neeed to figure out where to put them...
Hi,there! I'm just as "bad" as all of you! Books are my LIFE -- real ones, that is, as I do NOT like ebooks. I have five floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in the living room, and two more in the bedroom I share with my husband. There are three smaller ones in an adjoining room. The living room shelves are, for the most part, two books deep.
I also have piles of books on top of my night table, as well as the dresser, and no one can sit on the living room couch, since that is full of stacks, too...
By the way, I have an award for your beautiful blog!! Check it out:

So....um...I have 6, full to the top and books stored away too. AND I'M NOT ASHAMED OF IT!!!
great post.
I woke up Sunday a.m. to find my blog, my 500 plus followers, my 100plus author interviews, and my 200 plus reviews gone. Blogger gave no explanation, but I think the account was hacked. Change your password often!
I have reloaded the interviews and reviews, plus redesigned the blog. But if you could, please hit the "follow" button so I can reclaim the fellow bloggers I miss. I'm still following you, as my account remained--thank goodness!
