Getting ahead on TBR pile and prayers please
Ok I admit it my TBR (to be read ) pile has gotten way out of hand lately. So I'm going to try something out here to see if this will help me get going and trim it down some.
I have most of an entire bookshelf that is nothing but books that I'm waiting to read. Now I like that in a lot of ways because no matter what mood I'm in when I finish a book I can generally go over to the shelf and find something from the genre I'm in the mood for that day. It pretty much has it all in there Historical, Paranormals, Westerns, Scottish Historicals, Time travel, even a few carefully chosen Contemporaries. So here is what I'm going to do I'm going to post my next 5 books that I entined to read and stick to reading those 7 next! I'm gonna be strong and work my way through some that I have now and not just ones I'm getting in lol. So God willing in the next few months I will have trimmed that pile down some. Here are my first 7 from the TBR pile and in no particular order (I can't be that strict I'm just not that strong willed)
Eat, Prey, Love by Kerrelyn Sparks
The Exile -a graphic novel of Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeaniene Frost
My Lord Jack - by Hope Tarr
Caine's Reckoning by Sarah McCarty
Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris
Viking in Love by Sandra Hill
Anyone else want to play along? If I get enough wanting to join in I'll whip up a spiffy graphic to go along with this, and call it the TBR 7 challenge or something. Anyone got a better name I'm completely open to it lol!
On a side note I would appreciate any prayers and good vibes as I am to go in next Thursday for an ultrasound on a lump I found in my breast. I'm hoping it's just a cyst and nothing serious. It is sore and the doctor I went to yesterday said that is a good sign but just to be sure better do the ultrasound. Praying hard here. I have to admit it's made me pretty nervous and I'd be lying if I said it didn't. So ladies do remember to check those ta ta's monthly it's very important! And early detection is the key they say. Thanks and hugs to you all!

Hey, JennJ! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Try to stay calm, and keep your mind in a good place. How thoughtful of you to remind us about self-examinations and early detection! Take care of yourself, and keep us informed of how you are doing!
I'm sending those good vibes you need. Good luck on everything!

(((Jenn)))) Sending many many hugs and good thoughts and prayers!!
A TBR challenge would be a very good thing for me right now. I gave up trying to tame my TBR a long time ago!
Hi Jenn, stopping by on the 18 and Over Hop. Sending good thoughts and prayers you way.
Stop by my blog and enter for a chance to win Four Play by Maya Banks & Shayla
Black
Sending good vibes and hope everything goes well.
I would love to participate if you make it official, but it will have to wait until after the first of the year. I'm bogged down the rest of this year with review books and then my Christmas reading...LOL! But I have made a pact with myself that starting in the new year, I will only accept one book per month for review. This is so I can get to my MASSIVE TBR iceberg that numbers over 1700 fiction books...ugh! I have such wonderful books in my home library, but never have time to get to them.
I'm keeping you in my thoughts about the lump. Try not to worry, although I know it's hard not to. Let us know as soon as you find out!
Did you receive the books you won in my giveaway?
I'd love to have a TBR challenge!
HUGS on the lump. I am breast cancer survivor, so I know how you feel right now. Remember that 80% of all lumps are benign! Keep us posted.
Hi Phantom Photographer so nice to meet you! :) thank you so much for the prayers they are greatly appreciated. :) BIG HUGS I'm going to check out your place now! :)

Hi Michelle yep ok I'll get to work on making up that graphic for the challenge and then it can be an ongoing thing that one can do whenever they can. :) Thank you so much for your thoughts I'm hoping it's nothing will know by next week God willing one way or the other in the meanwhile I'm trying to keep busy to keep my mind occupied.
I did get them I should have emailed I'm so sorry but yes they got here just fine and thank you! :) HUGS and have a great rest of the weekend!
Hi Jill! Thank you so much hon I really appreciate it. And I'm praying that this is one of those in the 80% my mom was a breast cancer survivor too. I am so glad you won your fight with it as well. Maybe someday soon they will find a cure for this horrible disease then it won't be such a scary thing for so many. HUGS and thanks again! Will be getting that TBR challenge running really soon! :)
I hope all goes well with your ultrasound. Big hugs!
Hang in there. I'm sure everything will be fine. The same thing happened to me last year. Fatty tumor. The ultra sound was no big deal. They did a needle biopsy just to be sure. Don't want to do that again, but I would if need be.
I'd love to do the TBR pile challenge, but I'm a realist. I have a lot of digging to do to sort through stuff from 3+ households. I've put it off for way too long and have started pulling boxes out of storage, so now my house is more of a mess than ever. We have already taken truck loads of stuff to several charities, but there will be a lot more. It would be nice if we lived in a good spot for a yard sale, but we don't.
You'll be in my thoughts tomorrow.
