My Review Policy

First off I want to say that I read almost exclusively romance novels. (I do occasionally read a general fiction, historical fiction, or non fiction work if I am interested in the theme or passionate about the subject matter, but these are the exceptions not the rule.) So if your book is not in the romance genre it might not be the best fit for me to review your book.
I review not only here on my own blog, but I also am a reviewer at Night Owl Romance Reviews and I will post the reviews to Night Owl Romance as well if that is agreeable with the author and/or publisher.
I reserve the right to decline any review request if I do not think the book will be a good fit for me personally to review. I want to be fair and there are some books with certain topics that I do not read. Below is a list of the books I will NOT accept for review...
1. No homosexual or menage (or more) novels please.
2. No books focusing heavily on witchcraft or demons. (Books that have them as secondary characters I do read sometimes i.e. - Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series, J. R. Ward's Brotherhood series, and Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse books)
3. No heavy BDSM books please, very light BDSM is acceptable.
(I do accept Erotic and Erotica novels, but they are subject to approval due to content and subject matter in some of them.)
Again these just aren't my cup of tea , and it would in no way be fair for me to review them because I can not be objective about them. I mean no disrespect it's just not my thing. So please don't think I'm being prejudice, priggish or rude about the books I don't accept.
I accept ARCs or already released books (they do not have to be new releases, I love some of the older books that have been out for a while too!) from publishers, authors, etc.
So if you would be interested in having me review your book please contact me here and be sure to put "Submitting Book for Review" in the subject line please.
I will review the request and get back to you ASAP. Please note that many times I do have several books at a time in line for review, but I will do my very best to get your book reviewed in a timely manner! (If you have a specific date that you would like the book reviewed by please let me know that in the request as well.) I do review in the order that they were received, that's only fair to the authors and publishers whom I'm reviewing for. :)

About Me
I'm a full time mom and part time Graphic Designer. I homeschool my son Stephen and have from the beginning - I wouldn't have it any other way! I have owned and operated my graphic and webdesign company Sapphire Designs for over 7 years now. In that time I have had the great oppurtunity to work with some truly talented and lovely people.
I love to read and my favorites have always been romance novels. To me if a book doesn't have at least some romance in it well it's not worth reading. What can I say I'm a hopeless romantic at heart.
